Bronzz Goes Exploring

Instead of going to the barn after a trail ride, Bronzz sometimes asks to detour around the upper pasture.

Getting the mail

It looks like Bronzz is watching for traffic as i get the mail. This was after fly season, so his tail is cut short in his "winter cut" that keeps it out of the mud.

Exploring the front yard

Responses to this post on facebook told me that lots of other people let their horses explore, too. Letting them exercise their natural curiosity is not only good for their mental health; it's good for our relationships with them!
